I am delighted to introduce you to our vibrant academic community where students, parents, stakeholders, and visitors can explore the diverse opportunities within ELL.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">As an integral part of CAAS, Dhofar University, ELL offers three undergraduate programs: a two-year Diploma in English Language focuses on essential English language skills, while the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language provides comprehensive study in general English, linguistics, and literature. For specialized language work, the BA in Translation (English\/Arabic) equips students with expert training in translation and interpreting.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The department serves the broader university community through five essential courses enhancing general English and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) skills, ensuring students acquire the proficiency needed for diverse professional contexts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Our commitment to excellence is evidenced by our BA in English program&#8217;s international accreditation from the Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs (AQAS), valid through 2029.
